Yep... ofcourse I've only been around for a couple of days so maybe not so much to compair, but I never really participate in any of the other forums as they do tend to end up in shouting contest and aggressive talk. Not sure why that is, but the atmosphere here seems very friendly and open and I already found quite some usefull information on the forums here...

I just found this forum the other night and I love it. I've already been able to learn more here than anywhere else because no one here seems to think their photography tricks are a big secret. I'm a newbie and have a difficult time fully understanding something when its just dry words in front of me. The people here post pictures of what they are doing and I think that's great. It's just what I need! So I say thanks to all of you!

In no particular order of importance:

* Good attitudes
* No trash-talking
* Practical, timely, helpful, profitable advice and findings
* No bitter arguments, backbiting, backstabbing, name-calling, etc.
* Overall good spirit
* Easy to navigate
* Mature, honest opinions that address real issues rather than just "I hate this or that"
* Probably a lot else I haven't thought of

I agree with all the good points about this place, but lately there is too much spam and too much socalled news or new sites, when actually it is mostly just promoting referral programs. Miss the good old days for once.

Just joined but I like it here already. At least when discussing the various microstock sites people aren't having to revert to cryptic clues about which site they are discussing.

hah! I know exactly what you mean. You'd better believe the owners of the micros are reading this forum, though - they check in / chime in every once in a while, so make sure you don't talk smack about your kindhearted employers

I've been trying to keep up with removing spammer's usernames/accounts, and deleting spam posts as soon as I spot them. We're trying...and its all for charity
