I got bored - whipped out photoshop, along with my collection of RF StockXchange http://sxc.hu images, and went to work.

Doug - you don't have to use this if you don't want to, I just thought I might post it up to see what you guys thought. I have the original .psd, so we can always revise it.

I will venture out on the web and try to find some banner exchanges now I have a good one to use.

Anytime! I built it to the same size as the header just in case you wanted to use it - thanks so much for putting it up

I hope everyone likes it!

We could make it animated, so that the pictures change - maybe use some TalkMicro members favorite pics - we could set up a poll or something, I don't know - sky's the limit. I need to link this to the photographers that took the pics uses, I'm sure they'd be thrilled to see their images in action. Everything in the header/banner is from the RF StockXchange community (stockXpert's partner site).

Animated would be good, Maybe just the one of the pictures in the frames, so not to distracting

I will need to change the template so as to use gif instead of jpg.. Maybe something for the future?

Yeah, lets save that for a rainy day. I think static would be better, anyway - as dial-up users might have a hard time loading a 100-200kb gif file.

The font is the same as the apple font - Myriad. That background was this image file here, from stockxchange:

I let everyone know that I used their images - hopefully they see the comments that I left. I'd love it if people told me where they used my pics :?

No probs todd, ive used a mini version of the logo on the new links directory,

I used a font called the sans light, it seems to look similar to the one you used.

I did the logo in PS it'sa bit cluttered but i quite like it.
