Google has been spidering the site for about two weeks now, But for whatever reason, no sub listings in google!

As of today talkmicro has 591 indexed pages Traffic has gone up a third over night..

So come on all you Guests Get Registering!

Did you submit to the open project (dmoz.org)?

I submitted my own site there a few days back. A pain to get the page for submittal, but hey, every little bit helps.

ahhh, I saw the google alert module a while ago,
I have been meaning to make the site a bit more google friendly - but looks like there is no need now..



DMoz is a Good idea..

I set up a google alert sometime ago for myself, so everytime someone googles my name, it send me an alert

It's helped me find places on the web using my pics (at least when they give me credit).

It helps to use phrases, so when I set up the alterts I used a few: J. Gracey Stinson, Gracey Stinson, Photography of Grace, Gracey + image, Grace@morguefile - that sort of thing.

Some days I get quite a few, others none, but it's helpful in finding things you might not otherwise get to know about.

So you cold set up one in your own personal name, one with your nic at whatever sites you submit to, one for talkMicro, etc. and then they just email the results (when there are any). Results for talkMicro you could post in the forum if any turn out to be unusual

Thats pretty cool, Ive put in my name and Talkmicro - I will be interested to see what comes back..
