Default Affiliate links in Signature

Hi Everyone

Just wanted to thank you all for your continued support of the site over the last few weeks!

Ive not been able to be as active as I would have liked due to other commitments and an excess of things do do you know what its like!

I was thinking that it wouldn't hurt if you guys wanted to put a couple of your affiliate links in your signatures.

This could help to encourage posting - new topics in particular..

I would suggest no more than 3 links per person and keep them standard font size etc.

Obviously we dont want to encourage junk posting -so dont do that eiether

You think we should use our affilliate / referral links in our signatures here? I'll do it, if that's what you mean. It would be better if they were the ones that utilize our referral links, but still link to our own personal galleries. Most sites have those kind - BSP, SS, etc.

The last time I tried to add links to my signature (SS) it told me the sig was too large, so I only ended up with the two that's there now (the freebies gallery here and Feature Pics)

In your profile use the box for signature and you put the url tag and the url, then put the text for your link, then close the tag - like this (without any of the spaces)

[ url = http: //www.featurepics.com ] Feature Pics [/url]

This is standard bb code (bulletin board) and you should be able to use the same format on any forum.

Also, when you are typing in an entry in the forum, look to your left in the editor, just below the emoticons it says "Options". Where it says "BBCode is ON" the BBCode is a link. If you click on that it brings up a box that tells you how to use the favious code for the forum - how to make a list, how to make a url and so forth. Most other forums have the same thing, so you'll be able to figure out how to do it on any forum
