Illustration Exclusive-

www.illustratedstock.com

New site for Illustrators only. Some really good commissions and you set your own pricing. There's a bonus commission for the first 100 artists who have 100 images accepted.

Interface, Cartoons, Frames, Patterns, backdrops, drawings, everything.

Yes, aren't you using Vista yet? It reads your brainwaves and transports your images directly into the system. Wicked Huh?
Or failing that, you can go to www.IllustratedStock.com

haha - you guys are silly gooses. Title revised.

The site doesn't look so hot to me. Looks like a shaky startup if anything. I won't be submitting anything until I see some results.

www.illustratedstock.com has no Alexa rating at all, in fact, Alexa doesn't know about them. Smells fishy, or they just started a week ago.

Pretty much identical (and by that I mean layout, categories and site architecture) to http://www.voomstock.com/, which I'm thinking I never should have joined for two reasons:

1) I can't illustrate for sh** and need a lot more practice before I try to sell illustrations
2) it's a small startup and even if I were a great illustrator I'm not sure I'd be making any sales there

They both seem to be using PhotoStore to power their sites:
http://www.ktools.net/photostore/?PH...a0a1b928e0a69d

Which I actually find a little disheartening. You, too, can start a stock photo site for around $300!

You hit the nail on the head here. The first thing I noticed about this site is that they still had a place on the front page that said {Company Name}, where they hadn't finiished the setup of their canned site. I am seeing more and more of these pop up. It is time to start being real careful who you jump in with.

Thei registration is privacy protected, meaning you can't see who owns the domain. That's very fishy for such a site.

I agree, no name, no phone number no address, only the host provider address. What have they got to hide?

Needs some work. Look at the Holiday and this is for a piece of candy.
