Default Newdarkroom

I can't even remember how I stumbled upon this new site
http://newdarkroom.com
I've signed up and uploaded three photos so that is not gonna tell me anything ofcourse. The uploading is pretty slow and doesn't read any keywords as far as I have been able to tell, but they promiss they will improve and get FTP.

Does anyone have any experience with this site and/or any sales yet?

They're not a micro. Sort of a Image Vortex type of site. No experience with them, at all. I registered a while ago but nothing else.

I have worked with them for a little bit now. It is actually quite nice. They are growing by leaps and bounds from when i first started. I have sold three or four things so far. Mostly smaller but one large file so i am getting my payout now. I came across them listening to shutterbug radio on wsradio.com. They have added a bunch of market additions plus i know they are testing the FTP now. I asked support about it the other day. They said hopefully by the weekend. I am an ant at all the other places. It is kind of cool to get in on the ground floor.

Thanks Chris! Good to know you are selling there.. I am not gonna upload anything untill they have ftp as it just simply takes too long, so if that is gonna happen this weekend I might spend some more time there!

As they're not a micro... can you sell your microstock photos there? I tried to look it up in the FAQs, but had no luck.

Thanks in advance,

Antonio

I havent had any problems. I have my work on many of the micro sites. I uploaded some of the same (since they give a higher payout) I haven't had any issues with that.

I had the same problem, as I couldn't find any info about exclusivity in the FAQ.

So I sent them an e-mail and they do NOT require photos to be exclusive to them. Therefore if you're microstock photos get accepted you should be good.

It looks like Newdarkroom got theirr FTP up and running now. It looks pretty good so far. It reads all the embeded data in the image aswell (exif, iptc) Looks like they are keeping true to there word about the updates. You have to request the acces with the support form or email support@newdarkroom. Not realy abig deal, i dont think
