These folks are just getting started. Opened on jan 1 2006. I've been uploading since Nov. there. Review times are reasonable, but be prepared to have patience - upload is one at a time and you are required to price your own images with a pricing wizard.

Also be careful where you upload to - they have both RF and RM - RF images can be images you have at other sites, but RM images MUST be exclusive. They also check all images for appropriate pricing - if you price something as RM and they don't think the quality fits they will place it in RF for you.

You must sign a written photographer's agreement and either fax or scan and email it back to them - read it carefully.

I'm hoping this sites gets going also as I have some RM images there.

Gracey,
You're right Before they even started, I emailed the owner because he was going to have even the RF stock be exclusive
Finally got that changed.... but they don't have many features on the site and that one at a time up load is a killer....

The ONLY good thing about them is they're charging $10. for an RF picture.... and as one of the early signed up photographers, I get $9.00 of it ! 8) Sold one in Jan. already and I only have uploaded about 20 shots.... just too time consuming.... but the moneis good...

The other problem is that even though you're uploading RF stock, you still have to use their stupid wizard to price a picture that's automatically going to be $10

Too much wasted time.... but if they can get it going and get the traffic... the potential is good...

Yes, I got in on the "early bird" deal too and also emailed them immediately about the RF images. I had some but couldn't use them because of the exclusive rights to RF.

I also would like to see it move because they are pretty close, locally to me - about an hour south of me in Toronto and I like to support local industry/business when I can.

I didn't know if there had actually been any sales yet...I've not had one, but it's very early.

Yeah, the wizard drives me crazy to - I think there should be a separate page for RF uploads. I have to watch them - every time i coded something RF in the wizard sergey would stick it in RM - too good for RF he'd say, sheesh. I finally had to start putting RF in the keywords and then emailed them and said they HAD to be RF because they were already being sold eslewhere.

I also emailed them and said that RF images, especially at $10 each should be as good as RM images or else they'd lose out to lower selling places. Just because they are RF doesn't mean the quality shouldn't be there.

I am waiting for the February newsletter to come out and see what sort of changes they are making, if any. Not having any forums can be good and bad, good because there's no arguments, but bad because there's nowhere to get help or ask a question except via email.

I signed up strictly for RF and at first my up loads didn't have to go through the wizard... but then they changed it ???

The no forum isn't the only thing that's bad though.... there's really no way to know what's happening on the site.... no email to tell you if you're approved or rejected, no real stats page... no way to see how many photos are on the site, what the sales are... nothing....

You're lucky you're so close... at least if they piss you off you can take a short ride and smack 'em up side the head !

That's the Italian in me that comes out every now and then ! ops:

I'll be happy when they get a multi upload going...

I agree about the "no rejection letters" - when i asked they said they are working on it - I guess we'll see. So far they've posted everything I sent them, but there will come a day when they won't and it would be nice to know what isn't making it.

The only stats page i can see is "my sales".

 I guess if you're going to have a temper it mind as well be hot

That's the olny one i can find too.... but there isn't even a listing that tells you how many you have on line.... you have to go in and count them !

I get the same thing from them.... we're working on it.... give us some time.... well IF they did their homework before they opened, they would have had this all figured out .... I don't think much planning went into it...

They appear very similar to totallyphotos in concept (ok tp don't do RM) except totallyphotos started the site properly with all the goodies in place before launching to the public.

Gracey,
I agree the print shop could be a good feature.... but I really think other things , like the multi upload, should be the priority....
so time will tell....
