Interesting. How much are the phots for sale for. From what I can tell it is $1 for maximum size?

Space is limited to 1GB as well (though I just added 1GB to AJN by being a referree or you can buy 30Gb for $30).

haven't uploaded though. I dont think they will take off. I dont see the point of adding to more sites at this point.

As I understand it, you have 1GB for sharing, but unlimited space for selling. They also have a community running just for sharing photos and that space is limited to 1Gb.

As for the upload, I uploaded 250 images to get the $25 bonus. FTP was quick and IPTC worked well for most of them (just had to select them all and submit). A few didn't get the title or description and had to be edited on site. It's pretty simple, though.

I'll keep you posted if it picks up...

Just a note. IPTC reading worked flawlessly. What happened was there's a minimum length for title and description (5 charaters for title and 20 charaters for description) in which case you have to edit on site.

Just started to upload there and works well so far, now I am curious how "picky" they are ;-) I used your referral link Antonio, tell me please if it worked, SY

edit: Can you tell us something about the approval time? Thanks!

It worked. Thank you :-)

I uploaded 180 yesterday and they are already approved (some took just a few minutes).

Have another batch of 70 that I have to review. I'll post about the approval times later.

The photos I sent are all approved on other micros and I'm at 100% approval for now with albumo.

Just a follow up...

My 251 files were approved in a few hours. The $25 were credited on my account.

Now let's see how it goes, sales wise. I'll upload the rest of my colection as it's a painless process.

Cheers

Now you just have to get $50 in sales to get your hands on that $25. that is the bit I am not confident in.

One of the good thinks amongst the bad at Corbis new site, snapvillage, is that payout limit is only $10. And if you dont reach that in a year, they do an annual payment as well.

Let us know how you get on.

I am monitoring another site (not a microsite per se) that has lots of potential but has bigger issues than fotolia, istock and snapvillage combined in relation to make major changes to a site.

Same here 100% approved, 25$ credited, now I upload the rest and hope to make it a little bit closer to payout level. Thanx Antonio for posting this one, SY

I have made more on here in about 3 weeks than I have made on some sites in over a year! ....which is not saying much! but it does look like and good start and I like the feel of the site.
