Wink Earn more Than Microstock!!

ShutterPoint offers the highest payout rate on the internet. In comparison to the average payout rate of 50% elsewhere, when you sell images via ShutterPoint, you get 85% of the sale amount.

But you have to pay them a fee https://www.shutterpoint.com/Home-Join.cfm

Featurepics looks like a better option to me.

I used to have some photos with them but only ever sold one. So yes, the payout rate is higher but you also don't sell so much as one the micros! Ultimately it wasn't very profitable for me. I do have to say that it was way in the beginning when I started doing stock and the pics I placed on there might not have been very saleable in the first place, so that could have been the reason!

I was there for a year, what a waste of time! you pay for storage space, then IF you sell something you pay them again. No thanks I want to make money, not fork out what I havent got lol.

I came across them around the time I first joined the microstocks - total waste of time and money as far as I was concerned

Actually, Feature Pics pays you 70% commission of the prices you set, and charges no fee. Probably works out to similar money, but I don't know many people who actually sell anything on Shutterpoint.

There is another site that belongs to the same people - Keen Images - prices are high (very high - $100+ to buy an image) and commission is good, but there are no sales...not that I know of anyway.

I know Keenimages too Gracey, never had a sale there and prices are extortionate, Im surprised if anyone actually buys from there. when I was new to Microstock last year I signed up there too, man I knew nothing in those days lol.

Same here. I also signed up with Keenimages but no sale. I also did not spend a lot of time there but there review times take forever anyway... Not worth spending time on that is for sure!

Shutterpoint took my money as well. I don't recommend them whatsoever. If you want to pay to play, then you're better off going somewhere like Digital Railroad, Photolibra, or Getty's Photographer's Choice Collection.

I didn't realize Keen and Shutterpoint were run by the same folks. Guess I won't be applying to Keen as I had planned.

Thanks for the heads up.
