I am exclusive on iStock and doing well with video, I was wondering how others are doing with Shutterstock and SXP? are sales picking up?

I just have a very small handful of clips on IS, SS, Pond5, Revostock, and now SXP. IS has been the best for me, but SS has been doing better since they lowered prices a few months ago. SXP hasn't done anything yet. I haved been somewhat pleased with the other two as well, they give me a sale or two a month at 10-20 bucks a pop with only 20 clips or so online.

Shutterstock is picking up nicely. Revostock and Pond5 earn twice as much + (each) than Istock each month and Stockxpert (which I had fewer downloads on) financially beat Istock also because they pay so well. If your exclusive, I'm sure your doing better on IStock than I am, but I would never go exclusive because Revostock, Pond5, and shutterstock make so much more money. Even if IStock paid exclusivity at 50% (as opposed to the 20% I get now on Istock) it would only cover 1/2 of one of the other sites monthly earning.

I went exclusive because I got tired of uploading HD material to more than one site. I find my sales picked up nicely, I have sold 20 clips in one day on iStock. I am keeping an eye on some RM video sites to submit to as I can do that and still be exclusive at IS. Thanks for the replies and good to know the video business is rolling.
