I guess no one answered the question, so I went hunting. I didn't have a clue either.

Pond5 - which in their title pages, lists as Pond5 Beta?

Link to requirements FAQ.

Payments at $25 via Paypal, check or Moneybookers. $5 fee for check.

It asks for a referral when you sign up but says, "they will thank you" so I don't know if there's any referral program in place.

Here's the main page.

You set the price for your footage (currently, the minimum price is $10 per clip for broadcast-quality footage, and $5 per clip for multimedia-quality footage).
50% commission, 5-30 second clips, non-exclusive. All broadcast quality (resolution above 640X480) footage should be prepared using the Quicktime .MOV file container format, For Multimedia (non-broadcast standard) clips with resolution of 640X480 or lower, mpeg and mp4 file container formats will also be allowed.

Java uploader, and FTP, with a possible option of CD or DVD.

I think that should answer most of the essential questions?
