It can take from 7-10 days, sometimes as long as 14 days if there's a lot. New admissions take longer in general than the regular sumbissions, so once you get in you should notice a difference.

Right now they are in the process of hiring additional 3 reviewers for the regular queues, they've had a change in the TOS for both purchasers and submitters and they've just instituted a new program for footage (video) submissions, as well preparing a program where people who have downloaded images on their monthly subscription can purchase a backup cd of those same images. If any of your images on the backup cd (if the person bought one of your pics) you get paid an extra 5 cents an image. There's a lot going on right now.

I am using Feature Pics, but no sales yet. They are only two months old You need time to get the traffic volume. Many (in fact most) new photo type sites take from 4 months to 1 year to see any great increase unless they are being very proactively advertised.

In a hurry? Use shutterstock or one of the other bigger places. But hang on to some better stuff and place it in some of these newer sites. Do you remember the story of the turle and the hare?

The business model is somewhat different but I like it and hope to see it fly. I think that because it is different, it may have a better chance than just another stock site. I have put a banner link to them on my main page and will do all I can to promote them.

This is a "purchase" page on my personal website but the box with the photos is on FeaturePics. A purchaser can by them from my site, but the sale goes through FP. Saves me a ton of aggravation SS has a similar thing, but not as cool as this one.

The staff their is open to suggestions - very open and extremely helpful.
There's a bit of a disucssion in the stock links forum about them. "Elena" is one of the admin at Feature Pics.

This group seems to look at the submitters more as partners than as underlings, and I like that.

pssst....she has told me they ar working on an ftp function.
