Default First upload,how many

Considering uploading some shots to a few sites. What would be a good number to upload initially ? I know ss need ten,so i was thinking that amount and send the same to a few to see how they work out.Sound like a plan ?

10 sounds like a reasonable number to start with,

Just take your time keywording them and getting them just right.

After seeing your photos I think you will have no problems

Good luck!

Where are you submitting to BTW?

There are a few new sites that have been posted lately in the links section... It can pay to get in early.

Ah,keywording,that was my next question.

You edit the exif data adding a description and key words,is that it ?
The sites i've looked at the keywords are all alphabetical,do they extract the exif and do that automatically,or do you have to do it all once you have uploaded ?

How many keywords is about average ? Some of the keywords i see are way off :? It catches the search engine i guess.

I was gonna do it in ps tho' some people use exifer i've seen,i'll have to look into it.

I was going to try micro stock photo, shutter stock, istock and maybe fotolia,i'll look at the others, thanks for the tip

I'm such a newbie i know  but if you don't ask...

Ask as many questions as you like

I usually try to add at leat 15 keywords, usually ends up more like 40

exifer is a great tool, it allows you to create templates, which mean you dont have to re-enter all the keywords foa series of similar images..

once there uploaded - providing the sites are intelligent enough (most are) all you have to do is categorize your images and wait for review.

It feels like a long wait when you submit your first batch
