............My iStock sales have just come back with avengance, I'm selling like never before, :shock:

At the sametime my SS sales are going down.........I can hear the echo of RF site forums in the distance:"Ebb & Flow

SS has forever been my #1 site

Is this a trend you are seeing :?:

I was, but it has reversed in the last few days. SS coming back strong and IS at a stand still. All in all , though, making a good recovery from the holidays. This week was my best Sunday ever, and M-W have all been good.

Same thing happening here. It's just astonishing how sales have taken off at IS since the first of the year! Already I've hit one payout and if this trend continues, I'll have three or four payouts this month! All the while, SS is going down down down. My sales are 50-65% lower than last month.

Same here, my iStock sales are almost double that of SS. They are usually pretty close to each other. Although the last couple of days have been slow.

Also the same for me. Have you all been uploading to SS at your normal rate? My uploading slowed down a little with holidays, but my downloads have really dropped disproportionately. How about your upload rate at IS?

So far this month my sales have been about 50% what they were before the holidays. Alot of my sales were my Christmas vectors, but even my other vector files are not selling at the same rate they were before. My photo sales started declining this fall but the vector files were more than making up for the drop in my photo sales.

One vector in particular got several downloads on IS the first few days it was up the week before Christmas, I was all excited thinking this would continue but the downloads just stopped and have not picked up again. This same vector file got 2 downloads in 1 day at SXP but also stopped after that, and it is not a Christmas file, it should be doing better now.

A few other or my recent illustration uploads have experienced the same pattern. It seems like there is a certain income ceiling that I cannot break through no matter what. Maybe I just suck at vectors but I am a beginner and still hope I can get better at it with practice.

On a daily basis I think I was actually making more last May/June than I am now, and that is with a portfolio of half the size and very few vectors. I hope this is just ebb and flow and that all my vectors that I have been working on but have no uploaded yet don't turn out to be duds also. :x

My sales are well down with SS and up with IS. Seems strange, as I thought IS had increased their prices?

Would be interesting to know if something similar happened last year, as I have only been doing this since July.

IS went dead for me after their keyword fiasco but I have had more sales there in the last few days than in the previous few months - may even consider braving that horrendous upload procedure and putting some more there
