Default Busy Night for Microstock! Stock Footage??

It seems to be a busy night for changes, with Istocks merge with Getty and and now Shutterstock Accepting Video...

I hope this wont impact our sales..

Anyone going to move into this new market?

With iStock now part of getty I bet sales will start to increase. >this takeover is great news for the microstock industry, it sort of legitimises it.

Brilliant! you will be able to get a real head start, there is nothing like getting in early, if you upload as many as you can before the site launchs you could make lot of money..

Ive no doubt SS are promoting this alot harder than they did the original PHoto site, They have alot more money to play with now!

Good luck

Don't know but this come from their site : "We add more than 200,000 new images to Alamy every month."

They have newspapers, magazines, and book publishers to advertising agencies and corporate marketing departments,. I think they have been around the block. http://www.alamy.com/stock-photography-aboutalamy.asp

Watch this Space

I guess they can take that many pictures because they dont have a review process.

Im not sure it would be such a bad thing, Both Alamy and SS look like very professional company's

I dont know anyone who sell at Alamy.
