Default Craig's List

Just found this out on Craigs List. I can't imagine it is SS, but if not they are certainly stealing the business model. I like how they did the math for me so I didn't have to try to divide 2000 by 4 in my head.

Amateur and Professional Photographers needed.

We want your photos! Submit your photos and get paid every time one of your photos is downloaded.

Web designers, magazine editors, and other graphic artists purchase monthly subscriptions to download photos from our site.

Our buyers subscribe on a monthly basis and can download up to 750 images over the course of 30 days. Your cut?

We will pay you 25 cents every time one of your images is downloaded. Our subscription model encourages buyers to download a greater volume of images than they would at most other agencies.
Current Payout $0.25 (US) per download. That means that at just 2000 downloads/month, you can earn $500 (US) per month!

Many of our photographers earn this and more every month.

Start now contact for more details. THERE ARE NO UPFRONT FEES

If it's not SS I would stay far far away. That blurb you posted is almost verbatim of what's on SS.

It's probably not SS. There have been discussions about this in the SS forum. There are people who list that blurb (or others) on Craig's List in order to get referral credits. I believe if SS finds out about it, you will be banned from SS.

Ahh, there's a new concept, I think I'll call it spam.

It's definitely not SS. As Pelmof said, it's probably someone on SS who hasn't read the forum post that strictly says anyone who posts a link to their portfolio on Craigslist will have their account terminated. They consider it spamming for referrals. A few months ago, I asked SS to sticky that post so folks were aware of it, which they did, but they only left it up there about a month.

Ahh. Didn't think about a referral. That's probably it. Craig's list is 99.9% crap but every once in a while I get a legitmate lead there.

Craigslist is the largest classified ad site on the internet.

It doesn't say what site it is? Weird.

I love craigslist - you can't beat FREE ads.
