Published Collections upgrade

When a collection is published, it isn't possible any more to add or replace images, as far as I can see. It would be a good idea to have this feature, as most of us have our favorite subjects, and our portfolio is growing.

Of course you can start a new collection, but then you lose the ranking of your collection in the search engine rankings. Changing images wouldn't affect that, the search engine bots crawl through the metatages (title, description, keyword) in the HTML of the collection.

Any plans or ideas?

FlemishDreams, we have this possibility. We do not set "change" flag automatically (may be should), but we can set it any time for your collections.

I have started with the collections but am having a ltlle glitch.
if i press save it takes me to an empty page.
If I press send for review it takes me to an empty page.
When I log back in the items I added eg. "Headline photo" has reverted to blank as has the "collection discount".
Nor do I know if it has been sent for reveiw or not.
Anyone got any ideas on this.

Flemish it is very good idea.
Now is very good time for cutting prices and adding more images in collection. I can see that Featurepics goes 15% down with prices so it is good idea for all to help Featurepics with price cutting and make life easier to all potential buyers.

I have idea to make my "New Year gifts" collection 50% cheaper. Very good opportunity for all buyers.

I would also like to be able to add more images to a published collection.

One of the things thats stops me from publishing collections is the thought that I will be adding more images to the site and cannot add to an published collection.

I have a number of collections in progress but with this thought in mind I never get to the publish stage

i think its okie. Featurespic are very understanding and flexible. I currently only have one published collection. Then i needed to add a few more photos to it and i informed the folks at Featurepics and they easily settled the issue for me. I dont think its a concern about adding more photos to a collection. You can do that ;-)
