Default IS Lowers Upload Limit...Again

Notice from IS:

In order to better control the queue in these times of disambiguation (everybody, please make sure your keywords are as accurate as possible), here are the new upload limits for non exclusives :
Base : 15 per week
Bronze : 20 per week
Silver : 25 per week
Gold : 30 per week
Diamond : 35 per week
Upload limits for exclusives remain the same.

15 per week for a newbie is ridiculously low. The last decrease was only supposed to be temporary, but now it appears that it's a permanant change.

Drum roll!!! x.x.x.x.x.x.x.xx.x.x. 5 more uploads YES ladies and gentlemen you are now privledged to up those 5 yes count them FIVE!!! more pictures to us....

Give me a break!!!

They refuse images for the strangest of reasons as well - someones face has been badly hidden - image untouched the man did actually have a very large beard. Another one - image upsized - I don't even know HOW to upsize images yet

I have DA'd my previously better selling (Hah) images to try to get them selling again but all that have sold recently for the first time are a couple of landscape/nature images that were amongst the first accepted but they are just about dead as far as I am concerned which is strange as most people seem to have them in their top three (four, five )

I had a Christmas image rejected because of unneccesary keywords. The rejected keywords included "merry" and "green." Maybe I'm dense, but isn't there a phrase called "Merry Christmas," and isn't the primary color in this image green???

It just keeps getting more and more difficult to work with IS, which is really too bad, because they could be my highest earner, if I could just build my portfolio. Now that I'm doing this full-time, my limit of 20 uploads per week is much too low. I'm producing anywhere between 50-100 images per week, and am already backlogged by a month on IS uploads.

One thing is for sure...I will never ever go exclusive with them.

This is beautiful - how could they reject it for keywords, when they are totally appropriate?

Boy, I'm glad I never signed up with them.

They absolutely, completely and positively stink in all the extent of the word... That image is so good it makes me wonder if the reviewer didnt reject it for pure envy of it. I am not wasting my time anymore with them...

Wow! That is a nice image....but a REALLY BAD review!! If you're allowed to and if you haven't done so, I think you should resubmit it with trimmed keywords, then "disambiguate" it after it's accepted, which I have no doubt it will be. I'm definitely disappointed in their upload limits. My pics keep selling there, in second place behind SS, so I'm staying there for a while at least. But (whew!) they really keep making it more and more difficult to want to stick with them.

Well, at least this upload decrease is only temporary...........right?

That's what they say...temporary. But they also said that the last time they dropped the limit from 5 per day to 20 per week for newbies.

What stinks for me about rejections like this is that I hit my upload limit very quickly, and to have to use up a slot just because of a keyword rejection doesn't make me happy. I think it would save both their time and ours if the inspectors could just remove the offensive keywords and get on with it, instead of rejecting it, writing the rejection note, and reviewing it a second time.
