Default Model Release Questions

Hello!

I upload to many sites, and I have no model shots yet. Is there something like a general model release form that every site accepts? I think it's a bad idea to make someone sign 8 sheets after a foto, and it's too much work to organize them... If there where a release that is accepted by Shutterstock, Fotolia and Dreamstime would be enough for me..

I copied IS's release and redesigned it to include my information. All of the sites accept it.

What about the Istockphoto logo in the top right corner. Isn't it a problem at other sites?

I guess you missed the "redesigned it to include my information" part :-)

I did the same... no problems whatsoever.

Cheers,

Antonio

But how can I edit a pdf file? (using free software..)

Or may I just type my own release form, using the text of the Istock one?

Don't you own a camera? scanner? LOL

or you could just copy and paste it to a word document.

Sorry couldn't resist, but those are all ways to get around it.

really just make up your own using IS's wordings.

Ok, I know I can print it, scan it, then edit it, but I hoped someona can suggest a software to edit the pdf..

Isn't there any free software for doing small changes on PDF files?

As Snokid said, you can copy the text from the PDF file and paste it into Word. That's how I did mine. Then to convert the document back into a PDF file, I use the open source program PDFCreator.

http://sourceforge.net/projects/pdfcreator/

Unfortunately, you can't edit PDF documents in the program.
