Default Fotolia promotion continues into February!

Hi, I just recieved this fromFotolia, good news they are continuing their upload rewards program..

Dear Doug

The January upload program has been a great success, tens of thousands of pounds are currently under distribution to the all photographer s who have participated in the program.

Since so many people asked that we continue on, we are happy to announce an even better February Upload Program. However, it will only run until February 28 th and not a day more.

So hurry up and upload those images today.
Beginning February 1, 2006 Fotolia will pay 0.20 credits for EVERY image uploaded and accepted by our editing team. No thresholds, and a simple calculation: 1 accepted picture in Febuary = 0.20 credits for the photographer. As with the January Upload Program you must keep your images online for a minimum of 12 months.[more info]

It is our sincere hope that this will provide motivation to upload your images in bulk (even the smallest portfolios). The more quality and quantity photos you have on Fotolia now means more sales for you later.

Good luck and Happy uploading!

A friend of mine one's said I must upload atleast 15 images a day if i want to go big in Stock. I'm trying realy hard to upload atleast 10 per day to 15 sites. Hard work but worth it.

You have the right idea! There is images happening all around us.

Sorry, that should have been " model shoots with a diffrance". I have 4 to 5 models coming in. They wanted a callander shoot but I think i will mostly use my ideas  I always wanted to shoot a "Sports Cattalogue" with some nicely build models. Yip, sometimes difficult to spell. I will shoot about 1400 images and only use the best 400... Very picky and then get rejected on about 50 of them

I have 12 photos accepted and another 100 on the queue so far at Fotolia, but I can't see anything being paid to me (I understand that they pay 20 cents for every approved photo). Am I missing something? Ljupco

thesupe87,

Welcome to the forum,

Dont worry you get money 0.33c per basic download. You account accumulates credits (1 credit =1 doller) and you can take the money by paypal whenever you want.

Fotolia isnt a bad site its my No4 best seller after SS ,DT ,IS

they pay 20c per upload in february. - Only catch is you cannot withdraw your image for a year.
