I don't know if you are a mac user, but I use Transmit. It has the features you mentioned.

ooops, sorry guys -and girls- I am on a PC with Windows98SE! I had a look at Filezilla, because I like Mo(rc)zilla, but the websites confuses me... Thanks for all your advice so far, SY

I use filezilla for both stock uploads and for my work, as well (am a web developer). Dont' worry about the website... the program itself is fairly simple. Try it, you'll like it!

I use Filezilla too and am pretty happy with it. And it's free :-)

I don't think filezilla has much to do with mozilla.

Here's the link to download it

http://sourceforge.net/project/showf...group_id=21558

It's one of the more popular ftp clients around.

I downloaded filezilla, I installed it, but when I want to start it I get something like this:

"Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Runtime error!
Programm: C:\Program files\Filezilla\Filezilla.exe
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information."

Any ideas (Yes I have contacted support)

Ok, sorry, my bad. Windows 98 cannot run the latest version of Filezilla, but older versions can.

Please uninstall the version you have on your system now. And go to this web page to look for version 2.2.22
http://sourceforge.net/project/showf...ckage_id=15149

Download the FileZilla_2_2_22_setup.exe and run the setup.

This is according to this forum
http://sourceforge.net/forum/message.php?msg_id=3853916

Just to re-assure you that it should be ok to run an older version, I'm running version 2.2.14 on my system.

cheers,
ptlee
