Default Totally Photos - Sold

I have been asking elsewhere on this forum if anyone has had any sales at Totally Photos, I logged in this evening to see if I was in for any surprises and I was - still no sales though.

Once you log into Totally Photos there is a message stating that all rights and liabilites have been transferred to Richard Mills of Sydney, Australia. After a short downtime the site will be rebranded and operations will continue as usual etc etc.

Based on what im hearing about it, I don't even want to sign up...not worth my time. Shoot, Canstock doesn't even seem like it's worth my time anymore. I'm only selling about $5-$10 a month with them with a portfolio of over 500 images. That's crap, compared to my other sites.

i'd been meaning to sign up with them but I don't think I will bother now.
Big stock and Can stock are awfully slow.
I'm not even halfway to payout in 7 months
Dreamstime, when you get enough for payout is so fast. I applied for a payment and the money turned up in my paypal account within the day.
Now thats what I call speed

Canstock absolutely sucks. Period. Once I hit my payout, I'm gone. I made a whoppin' $1.75 last month with 246 images online. I've actually had five sales already this month, but the number will have to increase significantly for me to stick around.

Yeah, Canstock pretty much sucks for me as well. I've even started getting some weird rejections, I had one rejected that both DT and IS took. That was a first. I'll probably keep submitting only for sentimental value. It was the first micro I joined.

Anybody else problems to access this site??? Since today my browser (IE+FF) can't "find" it. I have a few pics there and wonder if I should try to contact them and ask them to be removed... I contacted them a couple of days because of the sale, but no reply... Anybody with more info? SY

I believe they mentioned something in the notice on the front page that the site would be taken down for a short time.

I can no longer access it either, and I am hoping this is that "time" they were referring to.

bigstock is slower too, but for me it's been very regular. If you simply keep on increasing your portfolio over there, you'll see continual growth in your sales. That's how it's been for me. I broke $30 last month, so maybe now BSP will give me a regular monthly payout (I hope)...

I'm disappointed in CanStock. They started out strong, but I don' tknow what the heck happened - like Karimala said, I also make very few sales each month. I'm almost ready to stop submitting as soon as I hit my first payout (I'm halfway there....after 5 months)

the site is still down which really bothers me.. just the not knowing whats up. I hope the rebranding etc work well.

as per sales i've made less then 10 and more then 5 there ... I was more then 1/2way to the payout at $100 so I do hope they come back. I know a few photogs got their payouts. Most of my work sold at medium or large size.

I'm curious to see what happens and if the new owners will be keeping the same model or not. I'm still a bit surprised they didn't keep anything up - not even a basic page or so just to keep their google-ranking.

Doing stock photos was a bit of an experiment for me so now I'm not sure what to do. It was great fun. Find another site? I've heard a lot of mixed reviews. I liked the idea and many of the people at totallyphotos... so now I'm willing to wait a few days and see what happens. in the meantime i guess I'm looking for another place to submit my work. Suggestions?
