Default Whats price for buyouts at the micros

Guys - now that some of the sites are offering a buyout option I was wondering what sort of price you guys were setting these at?

Has anyone made any buyout sales?

I quite like th idea of 500$ in one hit

Doug

I haven't enabled buyout. Not that I think a photo will make me $500, but I dont like the idea of losing control of my photos. Plus the hassle that you then have to take it off all sites within 72 hours (for DT).

$500 does sound nice though, I may have to reconsider.

Depending on the photo a pro will sell the image and the copyright for $2,000+ and I doubt this is likely at a micro, but you never know.

I've enabled all my photos to have their rights sold at DT. Most of them are set on the low end, although, a few of my favorites and bestsellers are priced in the four digits. I guess that I'm not really attached to my photos and don't really think that they'll ever sell for RM, but hey, if they do that would be awesome!

I thought about it but then re-read some of the terms on other sites and BS is 90 days (although I have stopped uploading there as sales are so poor so that will probably expire before long) and I think FP is also 90 days so it is a gamble, do you not upload to one just in case someone wants a buyout elsewhere :?:
