Default Bigstock question

When I signed up (about 24 hours after I first heard about microstock photography) i uploaded 80 pics. I then realised I needed to keyword them. Doh!

A forgivable mistake as I've only ever done it once so... I deleted all of them, keyworded them, and resubmitted them.

My approval rate was 1% or something. Arrrrghh!!

Ive since uploaded 50+++ photos and 99% of them were accepted. My approval rating is still 40-something %.

This means I can only have 30 photos pending at one time, until I get my approval rating back up to 90-somethign percent..

I cant find the text on their website which states how many photos one can upload when ones approval rating is x y or z... can anyone else find that text, and post it here? I found it once, but have not been able to find it again since.

Many thanks in advance for any help

The nice thing there is that eventually, those deleted photos will fall off the rejection list and your approval rate will increase based on current statistics. I think the rate is calculated over a 90 day period or so.

Worst case is you'll have to wait a few months.

I know. I read (and remembered) that much.

I was hoping one of the 20 people who read the thread might know where to find the figures, or remember what they are.

Anyone?

Dont worry that much for upload speed there. They are very very slow selling, so even if you could upload a thousand pics, it wouldnt matter that much on your dl's stats.

It took me ~2 and a half weeks to get 15 pictures reviewed. I decided it wasnt worth the time.

It is from the movie "Fight Club." I guess you would have to watch the movie to understand it

Im new to stock - but didnt they used to be faster (sales and approvals). And if they do pick up again (sales) wouldnt it be worth the effort having them online?

I am sticking with them, though they are one of the last sites I upload to. It only takes one EL and you are nearly there for a payout. Even with my modest portfolio and with out EL, I should still get a few payouts a year.
