This place doesn't look that promising, according to the thread.

I've been with them, almost since the beginning.

I've had no sales in all these months.

Every once in a while I still do upload one or two - they developed an ftp upload which doesnt seem to work from my computer without an ftp software (I generally upload from my browser - who wants more software they don't need?) so that leaves uploading one at a time - sloooowww.

At this point, the only reason I still upload one here or there is because they are closest thing to "local" I've found, and I like to support local business.

I see you aren't too far outside my area (we're in Orillia)

I have a couple of RM images there - just wondering if it is worth continuing. Are you posting RF or RM to SPK.

I like that they are local as well - I think they are a branch of a printing/media company that decided to test the stock waters. They may be into doing prints before too long which would give the site an advantage (for me).

I haven't seen them promoting/advertising at all.

Another site I post to "travel-prints.com" out of LA is another startup. I have about 460 images there but not one sale. The shooter sets there own price starting at $15 default. Again, no promotion.

Travel-prints has been horrible. I am impressed that you had the patience to upload that many files. It is basically one file at a time, or else all the files in a batch get the same title, decription and keywords. And for all that trouble I have gotten like 10 total views. Not worth it.

I don't know how sites like this stay in business...you never know, hopefully some day they'll take off and start yielding results. Maybe their marketing is in an infantile stage?

I have images in both the RM and RF side of SPK. They haven't done a lot of advertising at this point because they were having problems making the site stable.

At this point they want to have everything working without glitches on the buyers (and uploaders) sides - they've hired a new tech and a new customer service person, so hopefully things will begin to improve there.

I like the idea of prints too - I hope they get to that because it be somewhat advantageous.

I like to support start up sites too - have you tried Feature Pics yet? I joined there in February and have just reached payout A little different business model, but I like that I can set my own prices for images, and that you can select RM or RF as well as editorial for licensing. They also have an FTP or multiple image upload.
