Default Rejected at Stockxpert :(

Well ive been rejected at Stockxpert. Perhaps i should have sent them photos rather than Photoshop stuff. Who knows!

I submitted my top five best sellers of all time too.

Never mind, will apply again in a month.

That's a bummer! I applied several months ago and never heard from them either way!

I got rejected, too. Sigh. The only reason I was given was "we are not looking for your submissions at this time" I think is how it was stated...meaning, no real reason, just don't want my stuff.

I took it hard. But now - I've managed to make some changes, learned about a million things in the last week, and am willing to try again in a month.

I've discovered that some sites like the way I shoot, some don't. Either way, it's all trial and error for now. Once I know what goes where, I suspect it will be a tad easier. LOL~

Regards-

Well i've been with them since the end of last year and in the last 2 to 3 months it seemed that thousands of photographers heard of the place and decided to join.... they are farely a new site, and a few days back they had to upgrade they're server to accomodate more images. Maybe they're really swamped with photographers at the moment but keep trying

Hi Doug

I also got rejected first time around and they still reject quite a few of mine as "not being what they are looking for", however, before I learnt to put the rejected images into a separate folder so I could keep track of them I uploaded a couple of batches twice and a lot more were accepted the second time than were the first time :?: :!:

They say come back in a month but it was way over that before they lifted the restriction on me and a couple of others, one of whom eventually gave up because they would not answer her emails.

smphoto -

I've read other posts here that say they don't notifiy if you are accepted, that you have to log into your account to check. So try that. You may have been accepted.

That really stinks...it's too bad they won't look at your portfolio on other sites before they accept or reject your application. Sites should have that as an option, just to see all the sales you get - and what you're capable of. It's always hard to know what they're going to look for on an application. It took me 4 or 5 times before iStock accepted me...and since then they're only accepted one of my 30+ file submissions. Aye ya yaye..

As was said, just keep on trying - you'll get it. It will be worth it once you get on, I have hit payout once so far in my first month and a half with them, with about 140 pics approved (over 350 rejected too :? ) hey, money is money.
