With all the free time I've been having now that its summertime i found Dreamstime suggest keyword function. Wouldn't it be nice if we as a community added keywords to each others dreamstime portfolios? We could make a buck.... maybe and it would help our downloads!
i did a bunch one day - the key is to find images that dont have many keywords to begin with. Still, at 2 cents per image...it's not worth it unless you're like REAALLLY REALLLLLYY bored. it takes about 30 seconds average for me to re-keyword an images, so 4 cents a minute, that equates to $2.40/hr
HA! They probably pay illegal immigrants less money than that hourly. But hey, it's a great way to help out others. If anyone wants to do mine, they are welcome to. I always spend a lot of time keywording because I'd rather do it one and do it right. It really does make a big difference in your sales.
I do the same thing. Copying keywords from other top-selling, similar images isn't a crime - it's smart. It saves time, plus you can improve upon them by adding better or more important keywords. I do that all the time-
But remember folks that you have to have 10 or more keywords ACCEPTED by their reviewers to get the 2 cents... in other words, if they don't "like" even ONE of the words in your list, they can keep the others but not pay you the 2 cents. NOT WORTH the TIME! I have made 4 cents since trying my hand at it, and I was an English minor in photography school, am a published writer and probably put in words that are totally over their heads.
Besides if I ever went in there and found a bunch of new keywords on my images I don't know if I'd be too happy. Hasn't happened yet, but it probably will...

...as long as they don't delete MY keywords...that's fine by me. More keywords will mean more possible hits, so I don't care if they put "herpes" in under a picture of two people holding hands, that's a word I wouldn't have thought of...hahah! Taking important MAIN keywords away would be a bad thing.
