Default Anyone thought of deleting and resubmitting to SS?

The Shutterstock slowing down thread made me think...

Has anyone considered deleting and resubmitting their images to Shutterstock?? Im wondering if it would increase sales. New images do seem to sell particularly well..

I've seen this suggested somewhere... but isn't it against the site rules? Wouldn't it give you warnings and possible account suspension?

Cheers,

Antonio

hmm...good concept - the only thing you lose is page rank when things are sorted by most downloads/views. It's a tossup :?

Right now I'm carefully resubmitting good images that have been rejected, making sure I change the filenames - hopefully I won't get caught - but this is a test, I want to see how many get accepted out of the ones that already were denied :P

it's weird because for some reason i still get downloads from images i uploaded a year ago.. i feel that if it's a strong image it will sell for a long time... i have a few workhorses in there doing the job for me!!

I'm not sure it's worth the time to do that - anyway, since the reins have tightened on the quality of images they accept you run the risk of not having all of those same images accepted again.

A good point.

Id be careful supe, A good portion of your stock income comes from SS, Id be hesitant to jepordise that, and use the time to submit some of that backlog you have.

DT stunned me this week - accepting my very worst shots (re: lighting, noise etc), but by also rejecting a few of my very best shots too.
