Default First post and a qestion

Hi,

this is my first post here, and I think this might be a great place for all the submitterst to share their experience. Anyway at the moment I am uploading to only SS, DS and IS and I'd like to upload to some other sites but I find this really time consuming and I'd like to ask someone to describe me the rest of the sites they upload to in terms of FTP upload, sales, max and min size limits, and any other useful info. Thanks in advance and regards from Macedonia. Ljupco

ljupco,

What is DS? Dreamstime?

I upload to the same sites as you with the addition Fotolia www.fotolia.webhop.net I use it because you can see where your images are being used and it has an FTP upload. Its sales are a bit slow when compared to say shutterstock, but I like seeing where my images are being used.

I have a few images at some other sites that im "testing" I will report back when I have more info.

for info I have recently stopped submitting to Bigstockphoto and canstockphoto as its just not worth the effort.

Check the links section for more sites to check out

Doug

Yep, DS is Dreamstime. By the way how much do they pay at Fotolia?

About 33c per download, on the smallest image size,

They have a promotion on at the moment where they pay for january uploads,

I think they pay 20c for anything over 50 images uploaded and 30c for over 100 then 40c over 250...

that 400$ if you can upload 1000!

I would think twice about stopping submitting to Bigstock. My sales are so far 70 for Jan. Thats only $35.50 BUT count it times 10 sites and it adds up. They were in the beginning VERY slow for me and I also considder stopping my uploads there BUT they are picking up for me.. Or maybe they just like me

I tried my best. They take a little bit of time on approvals. I had 114 approvals for Jan at FL. There is still a few images in que. Their sales are also picking up for me..

Ice I think I managed to get about 49 up there for the january promotion

never mind their plan worked!

It doesn't matter though it got me to send some images up there - I have high hopes for fotolia, I have a feeling it will be one of the bigger sites in the future..

Maybe!
