Default DepositPhotos pays $0.20 for every image accepted!!!

Hi there guys
I don't konw if anyone has posted about DepositPhotos till now...But I found that they pay $0.20 for every image aproved...so that means that if you upload 500 photos you'll get 100$ .Wich is not bad at all....plus you'll have the images available for sale.
Take a look at their site is pretty cool.

A part of me is bothered by the fact that they stemmed from a rapidshare type site / company depositfiles.com ...didn't they? Or am I mistaken? Not sure where I remember learning that.

I think there was something about this at MG forum. If I remember it correctly, then they have the same sponsor, but they are independent from each other.

It is a concern but they have been around for a while now. If they were doing anything wrong, I hope we would of heard something by now. I will upload 500 and get the $100 then leave them there. That doesn't risk too much of my portfolio, if anything does go wrong with this site.

I did this in December, and it's been worth it for the $0.20/image (have some $ from it already in my PayPal) but I have not actually sold any images yet.

Well, I think for sale we have to wait a little longer. They only started last November and probably their first goal was collect images and fill their database. If I remember it correctly than I was reading somewhere some time ago that they start with their advertising campaign after March.

Wow enter phase two following the Albumo plan. First get photos and pay for them.

Next is no sales, because they are waiting for "X" photos before they start to advertise.

When the places follow the "Albumo Plan" all the way through and ends up closed, with people screaming, close my account, remove my photos, where is the staff!

I really don't want anyone to come back and say, it sounded like a good deal and no body said they were having problems when I signed up there...

I mad with this site now almost $200 with selling a single image. There are other new site where I did sell a few image but did not nearly made this much money. If I still don't have any sales in one year then I just stop uploading.

BTW I don't think that it is a bad idea to have some images in the database before starting to advertise. Why advertise something when there is nothing to see.
