Anyone else noticed an increase in sales at dreamstime?

Only got a few pics there - I may upsize it!

Nice shot.

I haven't joined DT or most of the other places.

I'm getting kind of fed up with low paying sites.

Yeah,

I know what you mean, sometimes it hardly seems worth submitting to them, It can be very time consuming.

Generally I only submit to the ones with an FTP for upload, Istock being the exception...

The problem with istock is that you have to work so hard to get sales... creating galleries etc..

Hi Rob,

Click on Lightboxes on the top right.
Just above latest lightboxes there is a tab : Manage
Click on that
You will find a tab : Create new lightbox
Whala .. your in! It works very well. I normally search the site to similar images to mine and add them to the lightbox. It increase you own sales as all of the images are viewed.

Hope it helps!

I think you can look at DT. Your images are very nice and will sell very well there. They pay $0.50 per image sold.

Here is my sales so far for the year 2006 there:
Jan Images sold 175 $90.50 $ Per day $2.92
Feb Images Sold 59 $31.50 $ Per day $3.15

If I can have ten of these sites it would be GREAT! DT is my 3rd best site. Like always SS Number 1, IS Number 2.

Upsize NOW! Your image is GREAT! I have increased mine so far to 624 @ DT. They are just taking a lot of time to approve at the moment.

The best time I found to BULK upload and have your images approved ASAP, is just before Xmass and New Year. You can upload 100 image and they are approved ASAP. Think its because most of the photographers take a bit of then, good for me!

Hi Ice, thanks for the info I have now set up a lightbox with photos from my city in it, we'll just have to wait and see how it goes.

Creating galleries? Lightbox? O.K. Can anyone elaborate on his issue, cause now I might be starting to know why some of my images were added to a certain collection at DS. Also what do you get if you create a gallery at IS. Thanks. Ljupco

Creating a gallery at IStock, is a really good way to boost your sales, Ive only done two, but I did notice a significant increase in sales shortly after i did so..

Same principal for dreamstime lightboxes I think
