Default Model release rejected

I just had a whole bunch of pictures rejected at Dreamstime for not having a model release. These pictures have two girls (sisters) in them. I've attached a model release with the pictures which have the names of both girls. Apparently though the pictures require two releases.

Some pictures with only one or the other girl were also rejected... for not having the right release.

Is having more than one name on a release not allowed? I'm not sure if I can locate the parent concerned, but can I just upload the same release twice with a different girls' name attached to the release so it can be used as two separate releases? Anyone experienced anything like this before?

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated, thanks.

The reason DT rejects photos with two names on a single model release (or in my case two model releases combined into one file) is because they "advertise" all of a photographer's models on their portfolio pages. They need the model releases to be separate in order to do that.

You can probably upload the same model release for both girls, and just name each one with one of their names.

And then there is always the good ol' clone tool. Remove a name and create a model release for each child.

Yeah, it's fun. I just got a release rejected on iStock (one that was previously accepted for a totally different photo) for not having the country section filled in with "USA". Wowwww.

Every individual person who you photograph has to have a separate Model Release Form, which all sites apart from iStock want posted individually. iStock wants you to combine the model release forms into one document for all people on the photo.

Recently PACA redesigned their MR and sites such as iStock, Dreamstime, Getty & Corbis, changed their model release forms. So if your using a form that is over 12 months old, you should update it. The main difference is that they require the photographers signature. I'm also photoshopping in a thumbnail of the model into the top right hand corner of all my MR's.

Yes Super, the country of the Model should be included in the Models address on all forms and even property releases.

I'm sure Karimala will also tell you to make sure the MR is submitted the right way up!! LOL

Thanks everyone. Grateful for your help.

I couldn't quite find the PACA release, although I'm sure it's buried there somewhere but I downloaded the Dreamstime MR. Just wondering though... does anyone use the MRs as is, the way they were downloaded? The Dreamstime one has an obvious Dreamstime logo on top of it... so if I upload to many stock sites I have to get the models to sign different releases for the different stock sites?

Or will say... Shutterstock still accept the Dreamstime release with a pinch of salt? :P

Oh geez...LOL I'm still chuckling over that one!

Best thing to do, Kitsen, is to develop your own model release. All of the sites accept them. Copy and paste the text from the most comprehensive release into a new document, and then remove all references to the site. I used IS's as a template for mine.

Also, I just discovered that PACA's model release is only available to members.

I can actually top that. I had a file rejected at istock for a model release 'problem' a while back. It was missing the area code on ONE of the phone numbers. The model was underage and her father had signed for her using the same phone number etc as her. Hers had the area code, he had apparently forgotten his. The exact same number at the same address only a couple lines above, and some inspector decided that it was an issue. Oh, I'd already uploaded and had about 20 images using that same release prior to this reject.
Go figure.

I had problems with DT when I did not have the Christian name of the witness included - again they had accepted the release for other images in the same set. Fortunately in this instance I knew the witness's name as it was the model's mother but sometimes I have no idea who my witness's are as we stop a passer-by to witness the signatures if the model and I have been shooting alone.
