Default Keywording on Panthermedia

Do you use only English keywords or also German or both at Panthermedia?

My view are very low on Panthermedia and I wounder if this has something to do with the language of the keywords.

For example if you search on the German site for "schwimmen" and on the English site for "swimming" you have different results.

schwimmen returns 4820 images
swimming returns 1583 images

I don't think that this word has a double meaning in any of the languages. Why then the difference?

English only and I had a few sales last month, so they must be finding them.

For example this image

Stock agency PantherMedia - royalty free images and photos

It is marked as Editor Tip and I uploaded it on Panthermedia in the beginning of March. The main-keywords are: yosemite, mountains, valley, sky, El, Capitan, california, usa
regular keywords: national, park, landscape, nature, usa, travel, united, states, mountain, tourism, america, forest, woods, parks, water, tall, forested, blue, sierra, nevada, plants, peak, rock, rocks, trees, tree

Category: Landscape

It has not one view. The same image has a good amount of views with the other agencies.

So what is it that I did wrong on Panthermedia?

I am having the same problem with PM. I used to write the main keywords in German and the comprehensive keywords in English, but "Robert" from the site told me that I should not do that because it would confuse the search engine.

I also have had few views and only one sale. I have not been uploading due to lack of returns.

I duplicate the main keywords in the regular keywords. If you look, next to main keywords it says "starting mid 2008". It is mid 2008 now but I am not sure they are using them yet.

Interesting. I though that I was reading somewhere not to have duplicate keywords in regular and main, but it looks like that this may was in preparation of the coming change.

I have to change this and see if the view# increases.

Interesting indeed. I was given the same advice too. Now we have to test the theory.

I had one sale for 15 Euros so far, but very little views. I've only got about 44 images approved there so far. They capped me off at 2 uploads per day, and I barely ever remember to do it.

Yeah, give it time. I've got only 45 accepted, and about 3 sales over the last 3 months. 3 more euros and I can hit payout of 50 euros. That's decent I guess. I don't LOVE Panthermedia, but it's worth messing around with on a rainy day.
