So far to the "Microstock is a different market" lol
But i would be interested if you bought RF or RM or both from Getty and Corbis. Because i didn't notice any serious drop from my RM-Sales over there so far but i have a small portfolio so maybe its hard for me to notice any changes. RF of course is a different story.

aren't you afraid that a customer maybe find this out? I think it could happen easily especially if you use a popular MS-Image or a popular MS-Model (thinking of Yuris,Hidesys,Lisas and Andres models they are very easy to recognize). Or did i misunderstand you?

No, you didn't misunderstand me but I am sorry for sounding a bit cheeky, not here to offend anyone - I still buy a fair amount of RM – just nowhere as much as I use too. There is a lot of talent coming into MS now!

To be honest I’ve never had a customer come back to me with an issue, though, I’ve never used a MS image on the front cover of a corporate report. LOL

Just to add to your observation, in the last two months, SS has become my second earner, after IS. But of course I am uploading more to IS, since they are more film friendly and also do accept more of the non-isolated background photos. I like to diversify and also, SS, with its low price per image and usage up to 250'000 copies, does not appeal to me in any ways. Unlike others, I am completely sure I will stop contributing to it at some point. But of course I am none, I am not a trend setter, just an advance trend observer.

When subscription was cheap I did use it but not anymore.

SS make most of their money (I assume) from the underachievers so its no surprise they didn't get a pay rise.
Just wanted to add these quotes, from this week, and the subject is IS sales.

Are sales on Istock suddenly out of whack?

I am having a horrible May at IS.

My iStock sales are running at about 30% of normal - way, way down.

May is down but it is too early to get alarmed.

almost on every biggest agency there is a drop in earnings: at least on FT, SS, IS.

I've noticed a big drop in sales, too. The que is super slow, too - I've got an image that I submitted May 3rd, and it's still waiting.
Looks like it's not just SS?

I really think people are way too fast to complain and see the negative.

SS isn't going to go out of business because a few photographers drop out or stop uploading, or hold their best photos until a couple months later, or because IS is the one answer for everyone. It's just not going to happen.

You might see a dozen other agencies go out first, in which case, IS and SS will just have more business.

I think you better do the math again
