Congrats, Lorraine!

Gotta love it, huh?
I've bought a few of the books...just depends on what it is. I gave one to my nephew for his 6th birthday...it was a book of sudoku puzzles for 2nd graders and there was a photo of his daddy and grandpa running in a 5K race together. Couldn't pass that one up, and he absolutely loved it!

And being a fan of travel books, I bought one with my photo of Lake Tahoe. And I couldn't resist the book by Martha Stewart's floral designer...haha! Nice show-off piece. Some of them are really expensive though, especially the textbooks, but one of them I'll give to my son for his birthday, because there's a photo of him swimming in it.
I kind of look at the books as a collection I'll pass onto my kids someday. I have some articles my great-grandfather wrote about doing business with the local Native American tribe's chief in Astoria, Oregon, during the late 1800's-early 1900's and love pulling them out and reading them on occasion. I'm hoping the books I collect with my photos will be something my grandchildren and great-grandchildren can also enjoy as little pieces of family history.
