Default BNPS Worldwide closing.

Just had an email that BNPS worldwide is closing down. They were a small site, so it isn't a big surprise. They are paying my money in 24hrs, so that's nice.

Never heard of that one. I guess I'm lucky.

I just noticed them the other day - wasn't planning on signing up. Glad I didn't.

What site is next to go under? These new sites are always a gamble...

Seems just like the beginning of the month we were talking about that site.

Two more sites.

Should we see if Trish comes back to post message number two?

I'm not the wizard of Microstock, but I can see more of these upstart sites, calling it a day. The wave of new has come and gone and now we're in the weeding out period. Not everyone can succeed and some just do better with marketing. It's nice that they tried, but if something with the push and financing of Lucky Oliver, decides it's time to cut the losses, then the smaller sites will probably be re-evaluating their profit positions as well.

The bigger sites will continue to grow and produce. This is not a sign of the end, as the gloom and doom predictions some micro haters have been voicing.

Something tells me that I'm sticking with the seven stock sites plus two editorial, that I have now and anything new or "discovered" is going to be ignored. I just reduced my files to the five on Panther that reviewers gave marks, it's not worth the time or effort to click all the columns and boxes. If those don't sell, I can remove the last five pretty easy. Biggest action at Panther was two views for one image that sells one every other site. I'm not impressed.

Chasing the latest fad site or new startup just doesn't appeal to me. Others may be more entertained and intrigued by the potential, uploading big portfolios and the mystery of new sites.

BNPS had been around for a few years, so I thought they might be around for a few more. My timing was bad on that one. They had sales, so I was a bit surprised.

The sites I think will last are ss, is, ft, dt, sxp, bsp and 123rf.

It looks like it costs more to run sites than I had thought and it is hard to see how new sites can get going unless they have big finances. How are albumo surviving? Must be odds on that they wont be here by the end of the year.

I just signed up with them and had sales right away. Sorry to see them close.

I can see Snapvillage doing well, because they've got big bucks behind them. They're already doing marketing, which is a great sign. They're advertising in the same publications Stockxpert did when they first came out, and look how well Stockxpert has been doing...

Did you have the minimum payout amount before they closed? I had some earnings there, not much, but a little. I never received the e-mail they were closing down so I hope I get paid too.

I had $16.80, nowhere near the minimum payout.
