Default How many new uploads do you personally submit each month?

What is your average amount of uploads each month? What do you shoot for?

For me I try and get at least 10 new images up each week. Lately I've been shooting for 20-25, because I'm trying to grow my business. This month I had an all time record of 125 new submitted images. I heard that some of the top contributors do about 500 new uploads a month - even those ones that are working alone, one single person. That's crazy! They must shoot a lot of series, and keyword them accordingly to save time.

I try to upload 5 per week, so around 20 a month. I am just to busy with my real job and maintaining our 13 acres. I also don't upload many sets, I usually pick what I feel is the very best one and upload only that. Maybe I should upload more of my shots, just seems like a lot of time is spent keywording and uploading images that aren't as good as the best one.

Thanks for the responses, guys. I think most micropayment contributers are doing this part time, aside from another main form of employment. I know that Mike (helix) said he tries to upload at least one really 1 good vector each week, and he is doing awesome. Quality is just as important as quantity. You might be saving yourself a lot of time there, Thomas. 13 acres, wow that's a lot of work in itself.

I too forgot to mention that I have a 40 hr a week dayjob that I also have to tend to...unfortunately. Who knows what I'd be able to get accomplished if I were working at stock full time. I'd hope at least 250-400 new images per month.

I try to upload 1-3 per day, to reach the maximum weekly quota allowed by IS.

Oh it's a definite struggle to do 100 per month, especially if you're not full time with stock. I would think most full timers would be shooting for at least 100 new uploads every week or two.

I'm trying to do at least 30 new vectors each month, preferably 60. Lately I'm landing somewhere in between.

My schedule is pretty much this this: day-job 9am-6pm, dinner @ 7pm, work on a vector 8pm-10 or 11pm, relax until 12am or 1am, sleep, do it all again the next day. Weekends I can crank out 4-5 images, so what I lack during the week I catch up on over the weekend.

You know me - I'm aiming for AS MANY AS POSSIBLE every month. If I could do 2500 a month, I'd do it. I can't so I do fewer. Last month I added around 390 images to all my sites. This month I'm going to double or triple that I hope. I would like to be up to 3500+ images asap. I think that's sort of a number where things start to "change" on the high end. I want that number...and when I get there, it'll be a new number, probably 4k or 4500.

Actually more, about 500 month... but i keep some on my hard drive for reserve, in case i need a vacation, time of and... the best go online in the busy/top period (starting end august til december). For now i only submit 10-15 a day just to keep a steady exposure/growth.
I have about 1400 files ready in backup.
