Default First Pay Out At PantherMedia, Need Advice

Good news I have enough for a payout at PantherMedia, with three sales. How are people outside of Europe collecting Euro's, do you just go through Paypal? Is there a better way, this is my first Euro payout.

Here is my referral link to PantherMedia for anyone wanting to give them a try.

I euro should translate to like $1.58 or $1.59 I think. I know a friend of mine did it through paypal just fine.

btw congrats on the payout! I got restricted to the 2 upload per day, and with 30 images approved I think it's going to take me a while before I can actually get enough images on there to make some sales. Panther is on the bottom of my list right now.

Yeah sometimes it's tough to get into the swing of a new sites likes and dislikes. I did email support after a couple of rejections and they overturned the rejection, as a reviewer mistake.

I'm looking at them as a middle ground player not quite Alamy, but not a micro. The revenues are good, like getting El's all the time.

I am in the UK and find moneybookers give me a much better exchange rate than paypal. They make a small charge for withdrawals but I still end up with more money than with paypal.

I now keyword with Irfan View and SV reads them with no problems. I did read that someone on another forum had problems with them. It is strange why it happens to some and not others.

I just joined you. Last batch I dropped from 80% acceptance to below 60%. It's going to be awhile before I get back to 70%. My fault for sending in a series of photos that were well received elsewhere and all of them were refused. Then I had a few marginal images, accepted at half the sites, refused at the other half. All refused at Panther. It added up to enough to make the restricted list.

Still that's better than Double Secret Probation!

I'm very careful on quality and content, thats why my portfolio everywhere is small. Panther is quite different to SS & iS and getting used to them is a challenge.

Now you tell me!

It was my mistake, I can live with it. When the portfolio is small, it's easy to dip below 70% with a bad batch. Once people get more photos up there, it won't matter as much. They like my isolations, they don't like creative or scenic buildings. That's my personal experience. They don't like big yellow rubber ducks at all.

I complained about 15 a week, now I'm tied to two at a time for Panther. Considering the views and sales, I may be better off, only sending them food photos, objects and isolations for awhile.

Congrats! Good to know the rumors were true that PM does have sales. :-)

I just can't seem to get in the swing of processing all of my uploads. Bleh. Wish some of these sites would make the process a little less time consuming.

BTW...where on PM do you find the acceptance percentage? I saw it once, but I haven't been able to find it since.
