Default Upload suspension?

BS does it on the weekends, now SXP is doing it for a week. On the reviewer's side it must be great, being able to clear off piles of work without getting more piled on.

But does it really work? During the times I can't upload my pics just accumulate, and the same volume gets uploading when I CAN upload. With the exception of IS, where they're upload limit just plain sucks.

They claim the reviewers can handle the load, and the backup is the result of another problem. By the way, BS has been accepting uploads now on the weekend and review times are a day or two. Much better.

It might work as I don't think people take as many photos in the week running up to Christmas. The reviews on Shutterstock are quick now, so perhaps this is a quiet week?

I agree, SS is the only one that still does sell and has some reasonable standards. Others either do not sell, or have ridiculous standards, or both.

I think most of the problems with the other sites are exaggerated by peoples lack of patience and paranoia. FT has been the worst this year with the V2 platform but sales are still good there. The other sites have had a few problems but I haven't seen anything that bad happening.
