Well, I've been with them for a couple of years now. Initially all was fine. Not huge sales, but reasonable.

Almost half a year ago I spent the better part of a day uploading over a 100 images and keywording them. All accepted within a couple of days. Can't complain the acceptance times are one of the best. Once you submit, the system warns you that it may take 48 hrs for the images to become searcheable. Fair enough.

Two weeks pass. I cannot find any of my images. I contact support which mind you, turns out pretty responsive. They admit an intermitent problem and say they would try to solve it. Two months pass. No result. 4 month, now some images are searcheable (a dozen out of over 100) by a few keywords. Now almost 6 months later, they tell me that if I want my images to be fully searcheable I would need to re-upload my images and re-keyword them!!!! They've gotta be joking! Obviously they don't respect their own time and efforts. The support person is still quite responsive and is trying to help (to their credit), but they now tell me that only first 7 keywords will be searcheable (our of 30).

I won't bother with them, I think.

Alex

They are one of the best selling sites for me. Some of my images can't be found but the ones that can sell well. I just keep uploading new ones. They have a lot more EL's than most of the other sites.

Their search has been broken since V2. It only seems to work okay if you put in only one of your main key words. No explanation from the site.

I contacted them on the 20th October over a couple of my images that just weren't appearing since the June problems (that was the first keyword, indeed the subject of the image itself, never mind the rest) and support came back with "We apologize for the inconvenience. Our engineers are still working on resolving this problem".

And still they are not searchable. Six months and counting.

Don't get me wrong, I love Fotolia. they are my best earner after Shutterstock and Istock. But for heavens sake, just re-index the frigging database. It can't be that difficult surely.

There must be 14 year olds out there who'd sort it out overnight for fifty bucks and a packet of Doritos.

I'd spring for the Doritos if it would help . I'd love to see the search running properly again.
