LO Icons and Rankings?

With some trepidation, I raise my hand timidly to ask...

The icons at LO--there's the oliver, the carny, the snake charmer...and I've heard there is also a fire eater, sword swallower, ride jock, trapeze artist, and ringmaster.

I'm gathering that the snake is for hitting 100 downloads, and fire eater for 500. What are the others for? I've searched the site and I can only find mentions of a need to put that in the FAQ, but it's not there.

Also, what determines the top 50 photographers? Is it portfolio, or downloads, or something else? Again, I've looked, and gone through the list, but I can't figure out the pattern.

Karimala, do you have the scoop on this? I'm hoping to find out without starting yet another boo-hiss thread about LO...not that people shouldn't speak their mind, but lately it seems hard to get info about LO without starting a fight...

I think the top 50 list is based on portfolio size. I was in it for a while.

Don't know about the other icons. I am 5 short of the snake charmer icon, so that is the only one I am interested in at the moment

Here are the the titles and numbers. Right now Fire Eaters can have up to 50% of their images in the Sideshow (50+% royalties and set their own pricing). We're still deciding how to reward our contributors for the other milestones. Right now exclusive images already get 60%, so we're reevaluating the current structure.

Carny 1 ? 99
Snake Charmer 100- 499
Fire Eater 500 - 2,499
Sword Swallower 2,500 - 9,999
Ride Jock 10,000 - 24,999
Trapeze Artist 25,000 ? 99,000
Ringmaster 100,000 +

Bouncer, Image reviewer and educator
Jester, Odditorium Moderator

Also, what determines the top 50 photographers?
Right now it's only on the sitemap and is based on images uploaded. Nothing more.
