Oh that and the fact that I've amassed a grand total of $14.70 in the last year. Even if they did drop the threshold to $50 I still wouldn't be seeing a payout before Christmas 2009. As things are, it would be more like 2014.

It feels reassuring to read exactly the same observations I made myself over the past months. The LO's Flying Circus is all over California having fun at parties, but where is the meat for the contributors (sorry Carnies)? At a 100$ payout, I'm just financing their fun, and when payout times comes in 2013, I feel they will have been gone to the Eternal Hunting Grounds of the "beginning" stock sites.
I stopped uploading some months ago. Even if the upload process is seemles, I'm on very narrow bandwidth in the tropical jungle. I'd rather concentrate on sites like Dreamstime where I made 3 extended license sales in a row 3 days ago (
boy that feels good).
The commenting game is a total waste of time. Sure, it might drive Google, but the resulting traffic is picture tourism, not sales-driven. For commenting and hugs, there is always good old Flickr.
I'm slowly starting to delete my portfolio for those shots where the watermark is still deficient. I converted my whopping 13.3$ earnings to credits a week ago. At least I can make somebody happy with a "sale".
Finally, I get slightly irritated by the hype and the hurrays of the Chief Investigator who keeps promising sales heaven next quarter. That game is going on for almost a year now. March 2007 would be the final breakthrough, so he said last January.
Where is the meat?
