I uploaded photographs over the weekend without a problem. They are having server glitches though and from what I'm gathering in their forum, they are reviewing images but they are not transferring them to the main server until the glitch gets resolved. I think they were having issues with the illustration upload features over the weekend - maybe that's the difference?
Not sure what happened. For 2 or 3 days, no FTP uploads made it to the main server for categories. Some time yesterday it started working again. Already getting behind at fotolia, and always behind at Istock, so I was hoping they got it fixed soon.
Hi all.. if you FTP uploaded images and they do not appear in your Uploaded Image Bin then we need to ask you to reupload. Very very sorry about this. We lost 2 servers this last week, and in configuring the backup servers we had a glitch that appears to have affected people uploading for about 48 hours over the weekend.
If the image entry is in your Uploaded Image Bin but the thumbnail is missing, you are OK. The thumb will be generated. If it's not done by tomorrow email us.
This alert affects those who FTPed images .. not those who did it in browser.
Thank you for your patience while we complete re-organizing the server structure. Very sorry for any trouble.
Luckily (in a weird kind of way) for me my workflow is to upload to BSP after FT, so I have encountered this problem, I'm still waiting for the other one to be fixed!
