Subject: FTP slow

Question: FTPs have been very slow moving from the ftp folder to uploaded images. 2nd batch today never go there. I don't know if I should re-upload or not. It's been several hours

I'm speechless.

Fortunately all 50 of mine that I've uploaded since yesterday appear to be there. Then again, I also have an aversion to visiting Fotolia so I don't bother checking right away. Maybe it's taking several hours to transfer and I just don't know it.

At least on the weekend you'll have more time to try and figure out which ridiculous category to put your image in

strangely enough, I have tripled my sales there in 2 straight months.

I read on another site that watermarks aren't showing up on new photos now. Checked all of my latest, and sure enough...everything that I have uploaded since April 30 doesn't have a watermark...even photos that show up in the search! Ugh.

There's a message in the forum about this, all photo's approved since 30th April have now been put back in the review queue while they sort the problem out, apparently once they have they'll automatically be approved again!!!

Boy do they need some serious work on their site, it's slow, the search engine is crap, uploading is a complete pain and now they can't sort out the watermark. I bet the competition is loving this.

I FTP'd about 57 images to them earlier last week. Sunday, I sat down and categorized and tweaked the keywords to their liking. As quick as I could hit the review button, they were reviewed - and it actually reflected it in my portfolio.

I've noticed the US site has caching problems - not sure which servers it's trying to replicate with but it takes time for everything to synch up sometimes.

Scratch that last post...the images have all been reset to pending (after being reviewed). Bummer.

Don't worry about their being set to be reviewed after acceptance, apparently there is a glitch in the system somewhere that they are aware of and working on. They say that accepted images are still accepted

Now the rejects/pending seem to be more random. I have images from early this morning accepted, some from yesterday pending, a batch from earlier yesterday approved, then pending back to the fist of may.


And worse, the second batch I uploaded this morning never hit the que to allow me to categorize and finish, yet I already have an email rejecting two of them.
