Default Using Photoshop to process images the way U want them

Below is an example of an image I took the other day.

The top pic is the RAW image out of the camera.
The bottom is the processed image.

Can you spot what was done, and more important, can you tell how it was done?
You also might consider adding what you might have done differently.

Can I ask why you didn't straighten the steeple of the church, even if it was built like that it doesn't look right.

I didn't do that because it's part of the sweep the eye takes from the lower left
hand corner, up the middle of the steps, to the entrance of the church, up the
steeple, circling left again.

See the image below

Oh and by the way, the church was not built that way. I don't have any idea why you thought that! It's the distortion caused by the lens which was 16mm, cuausing the tilt. The church in real life is plumb to the ground. At least it appeared that way to the eye.

I like the picture, although it's kinda spooky... I'm guessing that you changed the white balance in raw, adjusted the levels, and did quite a bit of dodging and burning. I'm probably wrong and tour going to tell me that it was much easier than that.

I work mainly in LAB mode and then "Apply Image" then I convert back to RGB
to finsh up by masking to change the layer blending modes, curves etc. For one image, its not uncommon for me to have up to 10 adjustment layers.

And in English....lol, way too advanced photoshop stuff for me. I dont understand the layer thing, they only layers Ive ever dealt with were the ones in my hair and that was a disaster

Very nice - I've never adjusted a raw image yet, but I hear you have way more control. Maybe once I get a dslr...

There's quite a few P&S cameras these days that will show in raw format, for a fair bit less than a dslr, however, I recommend the dslr over the P&S.
