Default Need some advice please

Ok I just need a little advice, I just got my second 'big' assignment working for a communications group, Ive had lots of help from Laurin Rinder on how to prepare for it, etc. (Thank you Laurin!)

The company said that they will need to see proofs by the next morning. Is there something like a software I can use to send the proofs to them? Or do I just send files saved at 72dpi for web viewing?? I want to make a good impression  it is to photograph an event in Bristol UK, what should I wear lol.

Hi Ayeshaw,

Have you got Photoshop, if so there is a way you can send them to a client as a PDF presentation via email, that's one way to do it or set up a client area on your website that is password protected.

The PDF way is good as when they open it up it starts as a slide show with a black background.

Can't help with what to wear!

PM or email me if you want details about the PDF.

Why not resample them down to about 640x480 and post them onto a page on your website? Then just give them the URL and let them browse through.

I'm a broken record, but honest the slickest, FREE thumbnail page maker, that prints them or makes pages you can save, is IrfanView. Nice quick photo editor too. Plugins allow many other features, including EXIF data viewer.

You can decide how many images per page. The software also does batch conversion with rename/resize both or either.

You can make "contact sheet" pages and email them, if that's your goal for proofs. You can put any number of images per page, based on size. Or you can make hard copies with a number of pictures per page.
