Default Crazy Photochopping!

Good lord...this took me like 2 hours. It's not prefect, but the client is happy - that's all that matters to me. This is for a new magazine launch we're doing.

The photo is not one that I shot, otherwise I would have shot the brush clean - like the client wanted it. This is one bought from photos.com

I like the after shot Supe, the one before, the colour looks a bit off lol. I think the red contrasts nicely with the monochrome background/surroundings.

Looks good. I'm sure your client is happy they have a good designer.

I'm a consultant and my current client used a designer to create a collage from several images to create one for their website. When I got the 'finished' image I about fell off my chair. It had to be the worst thing I have ever seen from a designer. The thing was sized incorrectly and was edited horribly. I was able to get hold of the original psd file and after I climbed back in my chair I fell off again when I opened the file. There were six layers and not a mask to be found. Anyway, you get the idea.

Enough of my rant. That's some nice work from a marginal original image.

Thanks guys. It's not perfect, but I'm probably the only person that see where I could've done better. Any kind of artist, designer, or photographer - we're all our own "worst" critics.

I know what you're talking about mattb - I work with losers like that all the time. They probably make more money than I do, and I have to explain to them how to export a Quark document to a 300dpi PDF. Idiots!
