Default batch resizing tool

Hi Folks

Whats the easiest was to batch resize and rename a load of images~:?

I want to put a load on the web and I am struggling to get PS to do it.

Any ideas?

Doug

windows XP - microsoft has a plugin you can download. Here you go-

http://download.microsoft.com/downlo...ertoySetup.exe

It works AWESOME - so easy too. Right click.

irfanview will do batch resizes - very quickly too. If i remember, you already have that program?

It will batch for a lot of things - resizing is one, adding a border is another - converting file types - even adding text.

Garcey - Oh yeah course it does

and Ive used it before to resize... I think i am finally losing it.

Actually i think i should write down all the tools i actually use and re-format my pc soon. the start bar spans my whole moniter.

One more vote for the best little utility I've ever used.

Sorry if this is a little late but IrfanView, and it's free. Does resize, rename, can make color, and other corrections at the same time and will allow you to save AS in another format, like jpgs to gifs etc. Batch processing and you select what you want it to do.

Fast way to take a batch of 1000 photos that have been culled, rename them in consecutive order, with an event name, instead of img_#### that the camera originally named them.

I also use it for making batches of thumbnails for one page gallery.

It makes contact sheets if you want.

Did I mention FREE?
