However I think I might have found an even faster way.
If you read the last few paragraphs of
this tutorial you'll see that you can in fact reduce the process down to a few seconds using Xara Xtreme. Seems to work as well, although it might involve a little cleaning up of stray bits and pieces in PS afterwards.

Here's a tip that might also save you money too! If you don't output for print and all you want to do is edit photo's or produce web graphics you probably don't really need the Pro version, not that it matters for trial purposes but if you subsequently buy it $249 is a big jump over $89!
