Default Your Equipment Kit?

Just curious to hear-- with what are you shooting?

I use a Nikon D200 with Nikon 18-200, Nikon 50mm 1.4f, and Tokina 12-24

I also (sometimes) shoot with
Mamiya 7 II, with Mamiya 80mm f4 (film)
Mamiya RZ67, with Mamiya 50mm, 110mm, and 180mm (film)

I do post processing on a 17" Macbook Pro with an Apple 23" Cinema Display primarily using Aperture 2 and Photoshop CS3

I haven't but I suppose I would scan film if the shots were right and the cost of scanning was reasonable.

Ah... just.. don't put your hopes high on scanned pictures.. most sites are very picky on quality .

I'm using a Canon 30D, Canon 70-200 f/4 L, a Tamron 17-50 f/2.8 and a Sigma 50mm f/2.8 Macro. Of course I also carry my trusty Lomo, which I doubt the photos would ever pass QC muster, but fun to shoot with anyway.

I have a few 35mm film scans accepted so I would have thought medium format film wouldn't be a problem if it was scanned right. istock don't mind a bit of grain but I use noise reduction for SS.

I've recently retired the Powershot a610 P&S That's my wife's new dedicated camera now.

Had to spend some of those hard earned photo earnings somewhere...so I am shooting with a Canon 20D + Batt Grip now, along with a 50mm f1.8 lens to start out with. I'm looking for an 18-55 IS Canon lens, as well as a bag for all of the goodies.

Todd, you moved into the DSLR world then! How you finding it?

Ive got a 30d with a 17-55 f2.8 canon lens. - Also a sigma 70-300 zoom.
Seems a pretty good setup really. Oh and a Slik tripod.

next a flash i think.

Nikon D80 and D70s as a backup, kit lens (16-70mm) to be upgraded to a Nikkor 17-55mm when my tax refund arrives, Nikkor 60mm macro, Nikkor 70-200mm telephoto, Tamron 1.5x teleconverter, Lensbaby 1.0, several colored filters, Photoshop CS2 (I have CS3, but not enough memory on my dinosaur laptop to run it) and numerous plug-ins like Nik Color Efex, Vertus Fluid Mask and Alien Skin's full suite.
